Hello everyone,

   My apologies for my extended absence.. I had a pretty rough year and a half and am just now getting back into the swing of things.  No art has come out of these hands.. Well, anything credible anyways.  I'm now working on a new Steampunk mask and costume along with some fun leather workings I'm just getting into.  
   One of the bigger things that have pulled me out of my funk is a contest I'm doing for a local rock radio station in Detroit.  Hundreds of female contestants try out to become the "Next WRIF Rock Girl" They narrow it down to 32, then the "sexy 16", to the "exotic 8", and finally the "fabulous 4".. Due to a little mishap one of the contestants had to drop, now we're at the "savory 7" BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I MADE IT THIS FAR! XD!
    How this works, is that you text "Karianne G" to 49743. There is NO cost and anyone in any state or country can vote. The reasoning I'm posting on Deviantart is that I haven't made a costume in awhile and thought "hmm, maybe my fellow deviants would want to be a part of this" Since I have decided that in the last round (final four) we're going to Cancun for a bikini shoot!! ...I have NEVER worn a bikini and I've been doing the nerd thing this entire competition with wearing a kilt to random WRIF events, 1930's mobster, and a pinup costume here and there..BUT! If i make it to the finals, my very first bikini could be a (I'm now a redhead) redheaded PRINCESS LEIA GOLD BIKINI!!!
